About Us

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Marathi language, culture, and heritage in Perth and surrounding areas. Our association was established on 5 September 2017 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi to bring the community together with people who are interested in the Marathi language and culture, irrespective of their ethnic background. We believe that cultural diversity should be celebrated and that the Marathi community has a lot to offer to the wider Australian community. Our mission is to foster and preserve a sense of community among Marathi-speaking people in Perth and to provide a platform for cultural exchange and social interaction. We organize various events throughout the year, including cultural festivals, sports, screenings of Marathi movies, and dances. Our events are open to everyone, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to participate and learn about our rich culture. The Marathi Association in Perth is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about promoting the Marathi language and culture. We welcome new members and volunteers who share our vision and are committed to making a positive impact in the community.
